KBP 865D was regsiterd on 1st February 1966 in London, its been languishing in a barn for years now after it was partly stripped to restore, the restoration failed and it has now emerged for sale, TR projects this good are mega rare.
The car has had the engine and box removed to prep it for painting, both are with the car and are original, all major parts are with the car.
I know TR's and inspecting the car, the chassis is excellent, straight and rot free, the floors are original with just one small patch, it need minor work to one seat belt mount, the sills are good, the bonnet is excellent, the boot lid needs minor work but is super straight, the doors have had repairs but I have another very good set, under the bonnet has been prepared for paint, no rot or rust, in the boot is in bare metal, no rot or rust, all four wings are straight and good with minor repairs already done. It is unbelievably rare to find a UK TR of this age in such solid condition
This car has huge potential and is an easy restoration project without having to spend hours and hours welding, or huge amounts of money buying new panels that won't fit, all major part are with the car, its in my garage in Nottingham waiting for its new owner.
