Renault Clio Williams no 0026.
122, 000 miles, It was supplied by AFG Doncaster, and it has a comprehensive history supported with service book (main agents and specialists, previous MOTs, tax discs and a folder of invoices dating back to 1994, most recently a few thousand miles ago for a cambelt at Renault Enfield. The book back is complete including the Williams supplementary handbook. There are two keys; the original remote and the Renault spare.
It's been loved, and enjoyed, but it's no show queen and has not locked in a dehumidified garage for 25 years. It looks great from 10 yards, but it has had some paint over the years, the bonnet being the most noticeable area, and there are some age related marks. The arches are good, but it looks like it may have some repairs to the driver sill.
Mechanically it runs and pulls well, doesn't smoke, the gearbox seems fine. Brake are also good. The only point to note that there is a slight blow from the middle of the exhaust. It has a valid MOT until May, and is currently on SORN.
The wheels are original Speedlines, and the tyres are good.
Other than the usual colour fade on the plastic door pockets the interior is pristine and it has the original parcel shelf with luggage bag.
Overall the car is very, very usable as it is or it could be rolling project depending on how far you want to go.
I have some spare and an original Philips radio for it, all of which will go with the car.
I've always had a soft spot the Williams Clio and I bought this one with the intention of running as is and then to restore it, but in reality I just don't have the time. :-(
It's a great little car with a lovely history and loads of potential.
