1966 Austin Mini Mk 1 Traveller in factory Island blue. This wonderful 53 year old mini has had just 3 owners from new. It was properly restored during the 90s and finished in 1998. I have a detailed photograph album showing every stage of the restoration and due to the care taken it still looks stunning 21 years later. Being an older restoration it feels very honest and will give anyone who inspects it full confidence that if looked after it will last another 53 years! The interior was also replaced where necessary with the help of Newton Commercial as was the roof lining which was professionally fitted and looks factory fresh. It drives wonderfully and everyone who sees it smiles as it has such charm and character. This is a very usable and practice mini and the last owner has enjoyed driving it on dry days to shows and club meetings and one year covered 900 miles. The underside is waxoiled so well protected from the British weather. This is a very original example which will give many memorable days out and would soon become a member of the family.
