Another phenomenal 986 Boxster from Flat Six Classics, KF02 XBU is a genuine one owner from new car with less than 35, 000 miles recorded. Ordered by its owner as a company car when he worked at BP, he then bought the car from the company car scheme in August 2005, at approximately 23, 000 miles. Since then, the car has been used very sparingly in the summer, accumulating just 11, 500 miles in the past 14 years. It has been MOT'd every year, and stored properly under cover in a heated garage when not being used. The owner contacted Flat Six Classics and offered us his Porsche as it just wasn't getting any use (his passions having turned to boats in retirement).
The MOT history is super clean, with just an advisory for front brake pads in 2010 and one for tyres in 2011.
The service history is all Porsche Centre Bournemouth to 2009/ 32, 261 miles (4 stamps in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2009), then a Major service + spark plugs in 2015/ 34, 663 miles. We have performed a Minor service, brake fluid change, fitted new front brake pads and upgraded 17" Twist-spoke alloy wheels with Michelin tyres.
Super original and drives like a 3 year old car - supple, great performance, spotless inside and out save for a couple of stone chips to the factory original Lapis Blue paint. The car was ordered with very few options (the owner eschewing air conditioning in favour of dropping the hood), resulting in a pure, lightweight Boxster that feels wonderfully precise to drive. The fact that it has been kept in perfect conditions really shows in the details - the plastic grilles around the front air intakes have not faded from black to grey, the headlights are super clear with no UV yellowing. This is a really special car.
