Motorbike belonged in the past to the pilot Francesco Pisanelli, called "piston".
Pisanelli in 1974 was Italian Champion Junior Speed class 250 cc. riding the Benelli R. E. C., and was the first to bring the Pesaro twin cylinder to success. He came first in the championship, ahead of the well-known Nico Cereghini, tester and pilot who from 1975 to 1978 took part in nine races of the class 500 world championship.
