This very special 986 Boxster S has had just four owners from new, the first of whom kept it for nearly 10 years. Finished in special order LM6W Lagogrun metallic (Dark Teal), with full extended grey leather interior including dash, door cards, centre console and virtually every other interior surface, T6 XTR was ordered with a large number of options, including:

September 2015, 47, 311 miles – new clutch, TuneRS IMS Bearing + Direct Oil Feed kit. Fitted by JZ Machtech, cost £2400
November 2015, 47, 770 miles – new cat heat shields
March 2016, 49, 250 miles – new front brake discs/ pads, radiator fan resistors, coolant change, brake lines waxoyled
April 2016 – 49, 857 miles – updated sat nav with latest discs. Supplied by Porsche Centre Reading, cost £315
July 2016 – 51, 750 miles – new steering tie rods, track rod ends and anti-roll bar drop links
July 2018 – 57, 902 miles – 96k service, including drive belt, spark plugs, fuel filter, gearbox oil, hubs lubricated, handbrake adjusted. Work done by RPM Technik, cost £944
August 2018 – 58, 200 miles – AC service, roof cable replaced. RPM Technik, cost £305
Since acquiring the car, we have carried out a full inspection and brake fluid change. The only remedial work required was lubrication of the switchable sports exhaust butterfly valves and cables.
T6 XTR is in excellent condition throughout, both mechanically and cosmetically, and a credit to its fastidious former keepers. The paintwork is without blemish, the interior showing hardly any wear to the leather (and there’s a lot of it!). Everything on and in the car works exactly as it should, including both remote keys. The finishing touch is a genuine Porsche soft indoor cover, in its own Porsche branded carry bag.
On the road, performance is exhilarating, the short shift gear change and sports exhaust combining to deliver a wonderful driving experience. The handling is precise and supple, the Michelin Pilot Sport N-rated tyres delivering sure-footed roadholding with incredible steering feel.
