Here we have a rare and desirable Jaguar XJS-C V12, finished in the stunning colour combination of Bordeaux Red with Cream leather. The XJS-C V12 was only produced for 4 years 1984 to 1988 in which time only 950 RHD V12 cars were built . This car is one of the last produced in the final year of production of 1988, only a mere 70 cars were built. This is a beautiful example with a good history file, all handbooks, service books and old MOT certificates dating back over 20 years. Recent expenditure in 2019 includes new ski slope wood veneer , new wood door capping's, alloy wheels refurbished and fitted with new centre caps. In 2018 the rear brakes were stripped, serviced and fitted with new brake pads as were the front brakes, also in 2018 the air con was serviced and fitted with a new dryer and re-gassed with the new type R134A refrigerant. In 2017 twelve new injector seals were fitted along with inlet manifold gaskets. In 2016 four new tyres were fitted ( they have now covered only 4, 000 miles ) a new coolant radiator and air condenser were fitted along with 12 spark plugs. The paint work throughout is superb as is the interior, all the bumpers are in excellent condition with excellent chrome. All 5 tyres have plenty of life and sit on newly refurbished lattice alloy wheels. The air con has been updated with the latest gas and blows cold, the soft top is in good condition as are both targa roof panels, the car comes with the correct targa stowage bag and hood cover. The car comes with electric windows, electric mirrors, central locking, heated seats with electric lumbar, rear seat belts, air con with climate control, cruise control, electric aerial and Alpine radio/ CD player. These Cabriolet versions were only built in limited numbers and are becoming more desirable by the day and are now starting to attract specialist attention. Current mileage reads 55, 047 the speedo head was changed back in May 2011 at 93, 477 miles with a second hand unit which read at the time of fitting 45, 105 so mileage is now circa 103, 500 miles.
