Original owner took the car to South Africa for 25 years. Returned to retire in 1990 and sold to me at around 80, 000 miles. Heritage Certificate states car sold via Henlys as Golden Sand with red leather interior. Bare metal respray 1991 in two-pack to MDJ716 silver birch, then 5-8 year complete restoration carried out mainly by JD Classics of Maldon. Numerous detailed bills available. Maintained as original as possible but with addition of HRW, alternator, EZ electric power steering, stainless steel exhaust system, Motalita wheel (original with car), period Dunlop SPs, ignition immobiliser, fitted car mats. Recent addition of LED lighting (except sealed-beams) Two CDs & Photographic print record of car from 1990 onwards.
