Description
A convincing recreation of a 1930 Mercedes SSK manufactured in stainless steel by Torrelaro of Montevideo, Uruguay.
This car was assembled in New Zealand in 1996 utilising all Mercedes running gear, 6 cylinders, twin carburettors, Overhead Cam, 2498cc, 140bhp. 4 speed all synchromesh manual gearbox. Independent suspension front and rear. 20" wheels. Red leather seats, Tonneau with centre zip so it can be driven with the passenger tonneau still in place.
After giving years of pleasure to it's original owner, including being exported to Australia for a 12 month tour, it was imported into the UK 12 months ago. Now only for sale due to purchase of a 1929 Bentley.
This is an imposing vehicle that is hand built in stainless steel (including the chassis). Excellent driver, convincing vintage looks with modern performance and reliability.
