1970 Ford Cortina 1600E, Much recent work carried out by Pollysport including Fitting of a 3 link axle with Sierra rear brake disc set up, Capri front cross member, suspension and disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, tunnel adapted ready to take type 9 gearbox.
The previous owners intention was to fit a Pinto but if i fail to sell it then i would prefer a 3 litre essex to make a Savage evocation or an st170 to give modern reliable mechanics .
A full respray and all underneath work have carried out as well as far as i can see. Large history file includes copy of all old log books including original green log book, many old mots back to 1980 and bills for over 6000gbp prior to the recent work. Powder coated Rs 4 spoke alloys. wiring loom and other spares in the car.
I know the wood parts for the interior that an e has are not there but there are many references to it being an e in the history file and the chassis number checks out to be an e as well.
An ideal project for somebody handy with mechanics that does not like bodywork or welding. The points have been put in for harnesses too. I will consider any Px, classic or modern 2, 3, 4 or more wheels higher or lower value bit only ask if your price is sensible as is mine.
