First registered 14th April 1957, this Austin Healey 100/ 6 is an original right-hand drive home market car, finished in its original colours of Reno Red with a Black interior.
This original example was restored in 2006 with the car fully stripped down to a bare tub with all mechanical components refurbished and a full interior re-trim in to original specification. Upgrades fitted during restoration include a Mallory distributor, oil cooler, disc brakes, stainless exhaust, seatbelts, safety steering column, spot lamps, large core radiator with plastic fan and additional electric fan.
Still in excellent condition today the bodywork has fantastic, tight shut lines and overall very good panel fit. The interior’s leather seating remains supple and free from untidy marks. Under the bonnet the original engine is clean and free from oil leaks, with the power unit itself displaying healthy oil pressure and the exhaust producing smooth roar.
