We are delighted to offer for sale this 1969 Land Rover Series 2A ex-RAF issue vehicle. It has recently benefited from a mechanical overhaul including an engine rebuild and respray.
This lovely Land Rover variant sports headlights on the outer wings whilst still retaining the mesh grill. The production of this variant ran for only 2 years between 1969 and 1971 making it aesthetically rare.
By many the Series 2A is considered the most robust series Land Rover. The 2. 25 litre diesel engine that comes in this vehicle is no compromise and was so good some modifications allowed it to stay in use until 1994 serving the army in many instances.
This vehicle represents the chance to acquire a rare, solid example with the opportunity to make it into first class.
