Well cared for Volkswagen Corrado 2. 0 8V in great working order. A folder full of receipts (loads spent on this car) and it has been kept as stock as possible, despite sports exhaust and a small K&N air filter. Everything working as it should, and even 25 years later this car pulls like an absolute train.
The vehicle has been regularly serviced by a VW Specialist, and I’ve recently had the track rod ends, front coil springs and shock absorbers replaced by the German Car Centre in Kings Cross, London. If you do a MOT history check on this Corrado, you will see it passed its last MOT with zero advisories. I’ve only owned the car for approximately 6-months and bought it as a weekend car, but due to a change in job I need a run around/ commuter now, not a classic. Before I purchased the car it lived in a garage under a cover, and the owner before that had it on display in a showroom, hence the mileage between MOTs is so low.
This is a particularly rare model, it’s an 8V and has no sun roof. According to the ‘How many left’ website, there’s only 60 8V’s left in the UK – but I believe it’s less. The spoiler works and automatically pops up at 58mph or can be lifted with the manual switch to the left of the steering wheel. Interior is immaculate with no stains or marks, plus the headlining was replaced by the previous owner so this looks brand new.
Other bits:
- Vehicle had a full respray in 2016. Still very clean apart from one stone chip.
- Front toe wheel alignment completed at the beginning of June, 2019.
- Brand new tyres fitted January/ February 2019.
- Cambelt replaced and fitted December, 2018 (only had 3 - 4k miles on it)
- No rust or bubbling.
- I have the original, factory Sony stereo that came with the car. I will include this in the sale, as well as the new stereo.

- Original BBS 15” solitude alloys with minimal curbing
- 2 original keys and 2x remote 'scorpion' keys.
This is a terrific example of an old car, that is only appreciating in value. But can still be used occasionally without fault.
