EXTERIOR
The wide arch 80s box design of this rally hero looks every bit the part covered in its white paintwork and iconic Martini livery.
The paint exudes a stunning glossy shine and the body presents extremely well having had a full and recent documented body repaint and reapplication of it’s superb sticker set.
Lights, grilles and plastic trim remain in place and in excellent condition only adding to the purposeful and recognisable design.
INTERIOR
The limited edition Recaro alcantara interior is in excellent order with no rips or tears, its red stitching adding contour and sports purpose along with red seat belts.
The dash, bulges with dials supplying the driver with every bit of information needed, including engine boost pressure and oil temperature while its limited edition numbered plaque sits proudly in view denoting this is number 359 or the 400 produced.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The turbo charged engine is in good condition and has been regularly serviced with plenty of maintenance over the years. Firing eagerly into life the car performs admirably on test; boosting as it should with the intuitive drive train in first class order.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The white colour coding extends to the 15 inch alloy wheels which present in excellent condition with no scuffs or marks. These are wrapped in matching sports tyres all round with good tread.
Brakes are strong and in good condition with plenty of material remaining on inspection both on the disc and pad.
HISTORY FILE
First registered in 1992, this was a German supplied car until its import into the UK in 1999. Some early history is available via the original Fahrzeugbrief, TUV tests and copies of German service history.
On import into the UK the car remained under fastidious ownership until 2011, with a detailed hand written book tracking dates, mileage and work carried out to the car further backed up by a huge mountain of invoices from a selection of renowned Lancia specialists in the UK, for perspective there are over 90 entries in this book detailing mechanical work that start in 1999 at 80k kms and run through to 2011 at 182k kms.
The current owner purchased the car in 2011 and further treated it to a comprehensive servicing schedule alongside a cosmetic refresh in 2015 repainting the complete car and reapplying its iconic race livery.
The original owners pack and manuals, including the service history book (although not stamped) are present with the car.
