We are delighted to present for sale this very tidy Land Rover ® 90, which we previously sold at the start of last year, to a customer who spends a great deal of time abroad - he found he was simply not using it enough, being parked in his garage for most of the year, and so has decided to move it on.
This vehicle was originally sold to us locally, and has been refurbished in the past to a high standard. As can be seen by the photographs, this vehicle looks fantastic despite being a very early example - indeed in only six years time this vehicle will be MOT & Tax Exempt!
Externally, the vehicle is very straight and enjoys a good quality sprayed finish complemented by period correct limestone steel wheels. With the addition of alpine lights and sliding side windows, this vehicle is set up in station wagon configuration giving transport for the whole family. The spare is mounted on the rear door, and there are are a full set of mudflaps all round. It is a lovely colour and unusually looks just as good up close as it does from a distance!
The interior is headlined and houses three seats to the front, with a pair of bench seats in the rear for passengers. Once again, the 'tidy' theme continues with period dash and some deluxe trim to the doors and the transmission tunnel.
Out on the road, this old girl drives really well and benefits from having power steering - in fact despite being an early 90 this vehicle drives as well as something much more modern. The diesel engine starts keenly and pulls just as it should.
In summary, if you are looking for a tidy, old school Land Rover ® with no electronics or computer issues to worry about then this is worth a look- maintenance should be inexpensive and simple to achieve as a result. Couple this with classic motor insurance, seating for seven and a very tidy finish, and it should prove a good investment for the future, whilst being cheap to run in the short term.
