1962 Austin Healey 3000 MKIIA, BJ7
Pristine looking ‘Big Healey’ in Old English White. Desirable convertible model with roll-up windows and traditional Healey dash. Built in September 1962. It spend the first years of it’s life in the dry state of Arizona. In 1992 it was imported to the Netherlands and fully restored by a flight engineer with great attention to detail.
Maintained by a foreknown Austin Healey specialist. Comes with a logbook dating back to 1992.
Engine, gearbox with overdrive overhauled. Excellent body panel fit and chrome. Chassis solid, straight and clean. No signs of rust anywhere and technically 100%. Matching numbers. Comes with Heritage Certificate of the British Motor Museum.
Six cylinders with 132 HP and gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th. Engine, gearbox and overdrive completely overhauled. Balanced camshaft and crankshaft. Runs very smooth and delivers plenty of power and torque.
Belonged to a longtime Austin Healey enthusiast who took this car on many European road trips incl. the North Cape Challenge and the International Tulip Rallye.
A very reliable Big Healey that looks great and handles superbly.
