LOT 29: A 1983 Ford Granada 2. 8 Ghia Estate, registration number RUC 973Y, green. The Mk2 Granada was manufactured at Ford's Cologne factory, with the square cut styling. The top of the range 2. 8 V6 developed 160bhp and was a true 120mph car finding favour with the police as motorway patrol cars in some of the most entertaining TV shows of the period. The estate version has a cavernous load area and this car has been with an enthusiast for the last couple of years during which it has been serviced by AC Motorsport, with new wheel bearings, drop links, a brake overhaul has been undertaken and new tyres were fitted in March of this year. The car has all the usual fitments associated with the model, including electric windows, trip computer, original radio, power aerial and a towbar with electrics and flip cover.
