This car is a 1970 Morris Minor Traveller in its original colour of Trafalgar blue with a light blue interior. The current owner, a retired body-shop owner bought it from us a few years ago and carried out a substantial restoration that took two years to complete.
There is too much to list here but in brief the underside was repaired with new front and rear floor pans, the body was taken back to bare metal, primed and painted, the wood-work was renovated, the wheels refinished and fitted with two new tyres, the carburettor, fuel pump and brakes were overhauled with new parts and electronic ignition a new cam chain a replacement gear-box were fitted. In addition to all of this mechanical and body work, a long list of trim items were replaced including the head-lining, several items of chrome, various lamps, seals, rubbers and new carpets.
The result is a car that presents in beautiful order and has been comprehensively overhauled without cutting corners.
