Finished in the beautiful factory Arles Blue with original period COUNTY decals. The paintwork can only be described as simply stunning and virtually unmarked! Fitted with a new set of Black Modular wheels with new All Terrain tyres all round along with the ever so important tow bar with electrics.
Inside the interior boasts the almost unmarked original Moorland cloth trim seats (3 seats + in front, 3 Upgraded Hig Back seats in middle row seats and 2 three-man bench seats to the rear)
Even the original carpets are present and in excellent condition. 100 % original interior, with the exception of a quality Kenwood CD/ Mp3 player having additional speakers fitted to the rear.
Out on the road, it is no surprise that it drives very nice indeed with no unusual knocks, bangs or whines. The engine and gearbox run and operate as they should with no issues. It is considered by many Land Rover enthusiasts that the 200 Tdi engine is one of the best engines Land Rover have ever produced, for its easy of maintenance & proven reliability.
All five door frames are in superb condition (see pics)
The chassis is absolutely rock with the ever so important matching VINS and engine number.
The spec of this Defender is totally original and unmolested, unlike so many others out there.
This is a very hard to find, unspoilt example.
All in all, this is a genuine much-loved Defender in beautiful original condition which clearly appears to have had a very easy life. Not to be confused with the usual worked examples out there.
Land Rover has ceased production of the legendary Defender since June 2015 so prices of Defenders are rapidly rising and a great investment especially the much sought after Tdi models.
