R129 Mercedes SLs are recognised for their ability to cover long distances in comfort and with ease. This superb 5. 0 litre V8 engined car has only covered 69, 000 miles since new and has been in the same enthusiastic family ownership for the last eighteen years.
It has been maintained by Mercedes dealers and Specialists since new which is backed up by a stamped service book and a thick history file showing regular care and servicing. £3, 400 was spent at Mercedes Tonbridge in April 2019.
The SL is well specified with a high-end Alpine unit with an iPod lead, heated electric memory seats, a wind deflector, air conditioning and an electric hood.
White, a rare colour on these, really suits the car well and contrasts nicely with the blue hood and the full blue leather interior.
The Mercedes was used for a tour of the Champagne region of France this summer and behaved impeccably.
A fine touring machine well cared for and in superb order. Tremendous value too!
