Finished in the rare factory metallic Epsom Green (possibly the most sought after colour combination) with original factory ‘COUNTY’ decals. 100 % Totally original condition having never been painted or messed. The condition can only be described as simply beautiful and still retains its factory deep shine.
Inside the interior boasts the almost unmarked original Moorland cloth trim seats (2 seats + cubby box in front, 3 seats in middle row seats and 2 three-man bench seats to the rear) having had seat covers on from almost new!
100 % original interior, bar the upgraded CD/ Bluetooth Radio -- Even the original carpets are present and in excellent condition.
Out on the road, it is no surprise that it drives superb with no unusual knocks, bangs or whines. The much improved 300 Tdi engine delivers smooth power with great economy and proven reliability. The 300 tdi engine is considered by so many to be the best engine Land Rover ever made!
The bulkhead, foot wheels & chassis (frame) are all in fantastic condition having been waxoyld regularly since new showing no evidence of any weld/ repairs.
The spec of this Defender is totally original and unmolested, unlike so many others out there, just as it left the production line 25 years ago.
This is a very hard to find, unspoilt example.
Comes complete with the original hand book, service book, spare keys etc…
All in all, this is a genuine much-loved Defender in beautiful original condition which Cleary appears to have had a very easy life. Not to be confused with the usual ‘worked’ examples out there.
Land Rover have ceased production of the legendary Defender since June 2015 so prices of Defenders are rapidly rising and a great investment especially the much sought after 300 Tdi.
