According to the Morris Minor Owner's Club, this Morris 6cwt Light Van was one of 1, 200 vehicles built for GPO Telephones in 1969 supplied in the usual Fleet green. It was changed to black at some time in its life and had one owner from 1988 until 2016 when a local customer purchased in restored condition, from a Morris Minor specialist.
The bodywork is excellent with correct seams and panel lines. The rear doors fit nicely and close properly, the underside is crisp and shows no evidence of welding and overall the van is virtually rust free . The interior has new seat covers and carpet to replace the original mat, and the load area is straight and very clean. The engine bay is clean and detailed.
The Morris drives beautifully.
