1954 RILEY RME 1. 5 LITRE, This car has been dry stored for the past 9 years and now being sold requiring simple recommissioning.
It is running and driving but will require a good service and brakes etc checking over.
The interior is lovely and original, not damaged but nice patina. The bodywork is generally well presented although there is some rust bubbling on bottom of passenger front door. The timber frame appears sound and chassis good. All doors open and shut well. There are a couple of paint imperfections but nothing really that would warrant attention unless you want a show car. There is also some bubbling under roof cover in a couple of areas
Generally a really honest car that comes with lots of history dating back to the mid 60s all in date order and original workshop manual/ hand books
The v5 shows just 5 previous keepers, the last for 10 years.
Please note that although this car is running and driving we would not advise driving it until it has had at least a full mechanical inspection/ service and it is being sold as a project
