The sleek lines of the 1-st series Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato, when displayed on the Lancia stand in 1958 at the Turin motorshow, looked very aerodynamic and state of the art in aluminium, with covered headlights and the typical double bubble roof.
Many regard it as Zagato’s best and most balanced design.
In total only 99 were produced and these 1-st series covered headlamp models are today highly collectable.
Chassis number the details below fits perfectly in this small series of 99 examples and benefitted from a frame-up restoration in 2007 by an Italian specialist from Milan (very well documented with many photos).
Certified by an attestation from Fiat Archivio e Centro Storico, it was logic to opt for the original colour combination of the rare “Bruno Tropical” with “Chiara” leather interior.
