This exceptional and rare RHD 1983 example is the result of a full nut and bolt restoration and must be one of the best Gordinis (or Alpines as they’re also known) available on the market anywhere in the world.
The recent mechanical and body restoration carried out includes a silky-smooth fresh paint job with new red pinstripes, full engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, new interior, new suspension plus a huge list of other jobs and parts.
The result is a simply beautiful and impossibly cool 80s icon that drives as well as it looks.
From the perfect turbine style wheels to the outrageously retro red interior, the car is perfect in every detail and wants for absolutely nothing, having had almost €20k spent on it over the past couple of years.
The 1. 4 turbo engine puts out a healthy 110bhp and the car loves to be driven hard. In fact, in a recent edition of Modern Classics magazine, this exact Gordini was a clear winner in a group test against its 80s rivals.
