Produced from 1986 to 1989, and powered by the legendary 410 bhp 580 X-pack carburettor engine, the V8 Vantage Volante was in its day, the ultimate performance model. Other features included visually pronounced front air dam, bonnet bulge, flared wheel arches/ sills and flip tail boot spoiler.
Being one of just 161 examples ever produced, this original manual ZF gearbox car is the ultimate time warp, having covered just 354 miles. The vehicle was first registered ‘LAW 48’ and has been kept in heated storage for all of its life.
Supplied new on the 20th January 1989 by Stratton Motor Company, the car is finished in Chichester Blue with Parchment leather piped in Dark Blue, Dark blue carpets and a Dark blue Everflex hood. Additional equipment included, Polished wheel rims, Hi-Fi upgrade, Burglar alarm system and an unopened matching Tanner Krolle Dark Blue leather luggage set.
The vehicle remained in storage with Stratton Motor Company until 1998, when it was transported to the second owner, who has since stored the car meticulously, which is clearly displayed by its remarkable time warp condition. As to be expected from such a treasured car, the history file contains the original order form, bill of sale, build sheet, warranty card, owners handbook and further correspondence.
