Owned since January 1989, throughout the '90's much work was done but some more is needed to get this car into a great place.
New bonnet, quarter valences, cills done, undersealed, stainless twin sport exhaust, re-sprayed, new carpets, and much else besides, including a replacement engine - the 'stroked' 2. 5L with competition gearbox with O/ D (she was quick...!). Around 2001 the engine had a major service with a huge amount done including new electrics.
However, then we moved house and family and work (the usual excuses) have meant the car has languished in my garage for the past 18 years and not been run. So the battery is dead and fluids need replacing etc etc. I did put preservatives in. The car needs another respray, the seats need recovering, the engine ought to have an electric fan and oil cooler fitted. The clutch cylinder needs servicing. But everything else is pretty much solid and you'll end up with a terrific car.
The reason I'm selling and not doing the work myself is because I took the choice between that and buying a boat (the boat won). Simple as that.
There's a pile of bills and old MoTs amongst the paperwork, but it is incomplete unfortunately.
The asking price discounts what I think the likely value will be once 3-4k is spent on it, allowing for some contingency and time & effort.
