Here at Old Colonel Cars we have another superb find. A 1 owner Rover 75 with only 34, 000 miles, always garaged, as original as you will find. This amazing car is a September 2003 2. 5 V6 Connoisseur SE Highline. A top of the range model that comes fully loaded. This example looks and feels like a 2-year-old car. Its no exaggeration, this car could be sat in the Rover showroom in 2003, with no work required. It’s the where when you take it for a drive, no knocks , no rattles, perfectly smooth and refined.
The original family spotted this car when on a day trip to watch the tennis at Wimbledon. Its was on show by Rover on the entrance along with its twin sister. A deal was done and its was soon home with them. It was always stored in the large double garage where I collected it from, only used for weekend trips, only on dry summer days.
Specification
This car is finished in Starlight Silver with a Ash / Light Smoke Stone leather interior.
Inside the car features Electric seats, Heated seats, Air conditioning, Sat nav, Cruise Control, Rain sensor wipers, On board computer, Parking sensors, Cd changer, Multifunction steering wheel.
This car’s only improvement / modification is the exhaust. The original exhaust has been replaced by a lifetime, stainless steel quality exhaust, designed to look and sound like the original, but obviously will be very long lasting.
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork and paintwork on this Rover look amazing. Look closer, look down the sides, look closely at the front and rear, its all in excellent condition. This car is original as you will find and is ready to show now.
Inside the amazingly original condition continues. The seats are finished in lovely soft leather, with contrasting piping. The wood dash surround is all in amazing condition. In fact if you look around this interior, it looks like a two year old car. I guarantee if you come and see this interior, you will be amazed how well cared for it is
The Alloys are all original and fitted with an excellent set of tyres. The alloys still have there original finish, no corrosion, amazing.
Chassis
The sills and jacking points are all in excellent, original condition. Look closer, all the suspension components, the brake lines, all in excellent shape. Its clear to see this car has been garaged and had exceptionally light use, as original as you will find.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 5 V6 engine sounds and runs perfectly. Producing 177 BHP, this low mileage engine is a delight to use and sounds and performs as it should.
The automatic gearbox provides smooth changes, hot or cold. It features Sport mode and Snow mode.
History
This Rover 75 benefits from an excellent service history. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped original service book, service receipts confirming history and mileage, old MOT’s etc. All contained in a well organised folder.
