Description
If you like your classics to be used then this is worth viewing. The Morris was first registered in Aberdeen in 1933 and still retains its original number plate. Its early history is a little unclear but it was abandoned in a scottish barn in 1963. It then did not see the light of day until 1980 when it was purchased by a gentleman from Stonehaven, Scotland who carried out a restoration which was photographed and comes with the car today. It was then sold on in 1985 to another scottish owner and ended up in the Shetland isles. The gentleman who originally restored it then re purchased it in 2002 and sadly rather neglected it until he parted with it in 2014. The new owner who was from Dorset then drove the car from Scotland back to Dorset (660 miles) with no problems at all. So moving on to today the car is running and driving fine. There are several areas that are bubbling on bodywork mainly on the wings and it generally needs tidying. The interior is absolutely original and it would be a great shame to restore it, the seats are worn and have tears in them, the carpets and door panels are tatty (you probably get the picture), but you cannot replicate originality. So if you are after a show queen this is definately not the car for you, but if you want one you can use and no doubt have many people talking about when you are out and about, then this is probably the one. As previously mentioned in my opinion it would be a shame to turn this car into a trailer queen. We welcome any viewing or we can answer any questions over the phone or by email.
