The Ford Model T production stopped in 1927 when the Model A production commenced in October of that year. A more complex car than the T, the A was more powerful, but also more comfortable with a 3285cc 4 cylinder engine developing 40hp at 2200 rpm, a gearbox with sliding gears and drum brakes on the 4 metal spokes wheels. It was offered with a wide variety of different bodywork styles.
Produced in France, as confirmed by its constructor plaque, the torpedo we are presenting entered the Trigano collection about ten years ago and has since benefitted from a bare chassis restoration. The woodwork has been redone, the body has been repainted and the mechanics revised at the same time. The upholstery has not been forgotten, as has the soft top, in perfect condition. It is an old commercial model that has been equipped with a rear door and a bench seat to make it a family torpedo. In good condition, this powerful car awaits its next owner's care and passion.
We inform buyers that all the vehicles in the collection have been little used during the last years as they are part of a museum collection. They are sold as presented and therefore require recommissioning before being driven on the public roads.
Estimate: 10 000 - 15 000 €
