Descrição
This Austin Healey 3000 MkIII is an extremely late build date, final production specification BJ8 Phase II car despatched on 25th November 1966. Finished in it’s original colours of Ivory White with Red interior and a Black hood plus Black mohair tonneau this Healey features all of the latest refinements and revisions made to the Austin Healey platform.
Full restored by Northern Healey Centre between 2007-11 from the ground up on a new chassis, this Healey has an excellent sub structure and body. This Healey has covered just a few thousand miles since these works and remains in very good overall condition.
At present day this is a much-sorted car with £30, 000 spent with JME Healeys since restoration (including a mohair hood, mohair tonneau, high torque starter upgrade, large core radiator upgrade, alternator conversion plus full steering and suspension overhaul) plus a further £8, 500 spent with us on servicing, rolling road tuning, our telescopic damper upgrade, thermal insulation and sound deadening. As such this car is very highly specified with many desirable upgrades to improve refinement, driveability and reliability.
This car represents a rare opportunity to buy a highly upgraded excellent quality car, very well sorted owing to significant expenditure from a very caring previous owner.
Supplied serviced with MOT, full restoration documentation, large paperwork history file plus British Motor Heritage Certificate of Authenticity.
