Description
This is an original example of a Ford Popular and a very solid car, a prime restoration project. The car has one previous owner from new. The panels and doors are all in very good condition, however there is a small dent on the driver’s side of the roof and in the passenger wing. Underneath, the car is in very good condition especially the floor pans with only very minor surface rust. A new brake pipe, fuel line, and brake cylinders have been fitted as well as a new set of tyres. The car has the original paintwork but does need respraying.
The interior is all original, but could do with a refurbishment – the seats, door cards and headlining are all still in good condition.
The car drives but does need a service. The engine has had new plugs and a battery fitted and comes complete with original chassis number and registration plate.
The car has an MOT until Jan 2021 and comes with a number of spare parts including lights, fuel filler cap, lenses.
