Launched in March 1992 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa 155 was set to replace the Alfa 75. Its aerodynamic body work was designed by an Italian design house I. DE. A Institute and the most significant technical change was the switch from a rear wheel drive to a front wheel drive layout.
Powered by a 2. 0 litre Twin-Spark Inline four cylinder producing 104kW at 6, 000rpm and 216Nm of torque the Alfa 155 will help achieve its 0 – 100 km/ h sprint in under 9 seconds.
Rare in Australia due to a non-supply of cars, this 1994 Alfa Romeo 155 2. 0 litre Twin-Spark is a unique offering.
Delivered to Hong Kong but imported into Australia in 1997 by Alfa Romeo dealer Brian Foley Automotive this car was sold to its first owner here in Sydney in 1998 with approximately 50 kilometres showing in its original colour of Bleu Spazio.
In exceptional original condition today, this Alfa has travelled just 169, 894 kilometres ever since and aside from its Ansa exhaust system, wooden rimmed Alfa Romeo momo steering wheel and Alpine head unit this car remains unmodified.
Accompanying the sale is its original two keys, original delivery/ service books and owners’ manuals. Additionally, alongside its original steering wheel it also comes with an original 155 press release feature folder complete with original brochures and specification/ build sheets.
