Built from 1950 to 1967, the Moto Guzzi Falcone was the most popular 500cc motorcycle in Italy. The great reliability of all the great Guzzis since the 30 years continued with the Falcone. Therefore Moto Guzzi was also the purveyor to the Italian state. Many Falcone and Airone were used in government service in the fire brigade, police and military. The Guzzi Falcone is still very popular today. On the one hand, the reliability but also the very good spare parts supply is a reason for this popularity.
The Falcone Tourismo offered here was delivered to the Italian state in 1960. There it was taken out of service in 1977 and was only perfectly restored a few years ago. The result of this very elaborate restoration was honored by the Italian Oldtimer Association with the highest possible award and the vehicle received the gold medal and the historic vehicle pass in 2019. The Falcone runs great, everything works as it should. We were able to measure a good 20 hp on the test bench.
