Porsche 928 S2, 4. 7 V8, rare manual gearbox variant, less than 10% of 928’s produced were specified with manual transmission, the bulk being automatics. Date of reg, 14/ 07/ 1984. This 928 was supplied new by Charles Follet Porsche of London to a member of a royal family, HRH titled document in the original log book and history file. Finished in the stunning colour combination of Pewter Metallic with Burgundy leather trim piped White. The car has in the past few years been treated to a doors off, glass out full repaint with full photographic record. Also just completed at the local Porsche main dealer, cam belt and water pump replaced on the 08/ 08/ 2020.
This car has been well cared for inside and out its entire life, and is a credit to its previous owner. The car won 1st prize for the ‘Best 928’ at the Porsche concours Show at Lotherton Hall in 2019. The engine runs silky smooth, and the manual gearbox is crisp and precise! It is an absolute pleasure to drive, and the noise from the V8 and the stainless exhaust is fantastic. There is a huge history file with the vehicle including the details of all owners from new and dates of ownership, also copies of almost all the V5s since new, a vast collection of MOT certificates, tax discs and receipts dating back for many years; all of which corroborates the mileage as genuine. The current mileage stands at 109, 638, however the speedometer was changed on the 1st May 1997 at 65, 451 miles, this was fully documented in the service book, and as the current mileage reads 44, 187, this means it has averaged only 3, 300 miles a year.
There is also a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche which confirms it is a UK supplied car with original engine and manual transmission. Interestingly with the history is the original sales brochure from when the car was new, which actually features the same specification car, colour, interior, and manual transmission; it would appear that the original owner requested an almost identical vehicle to the one in the then current sales brochure !

The car has the rare manual gearbox, limited slip diff and original wide track kit option fitted from factory. The A/ C has recently been overhauled with the pump being fully reconditioned, also a variety of cosmetic parts such as door vents, trim, and clips have been replaced to make the car as original as possible. Full stainless-steel exhaust recently fitted; sounds amazing. A quality stereo is fitted that includes a handsfree kit and bluetooth streaming. Also fitted is a Blackvue dash cam which is subtly mounted and a Scorpion alarm/ immobiliser with remote central locking. With the history is the original Porsche handbook and service book fully stamped, along with a vast A4 history file, photographic record of the cars repaint and the cup it won in 2019.
