***** Deposit now taken****** A fantastic example of this now rare and iconic British sporting saloon, having covered c. 56, 600 miles. Renowned for its racing pedigree from years gone by this car performs very well today. This is a manual with o/ d example finished in pimento red with black velour upholstery; headrests to front seats and centre arm rest to rear, wood door cappings and dash as standard. The car comes with extensive history and has had subtle modifications to enable all year round motoring if one wishes, whilst being able to keep up with and stop with today’s modern traffic. As classics come this example has to be one of the most practical, a sporting saloon for when spirited driving is called for, whilst being able to transport all the family on any other occasion. Always welcomed at a car event due its relative rarity these days.
This car has been fitted with a stainless steel free flow manifold and exhaust, a kenlowe fan, upgraded radiator and electric water pump. Additionally I have upgraded to Mintex pads, braided brake hoses and had the car re-wax-oiled and poly bushed all round. The engine has recently been rebuilt, balanced and lightened, this along with all the other work I have completed on the car was undertaken by renowned Triumph and classic car specialists EJ Wards of Bruntingthorpe. Internally the dash bulbs have been upgraded (along with the headlights), an oil gauge fitted and a period British handmade Moto-Lita steering wheel. Further works have also been completed on the car, the car comes with a heritage certificate, is tax and Mot excempt although I have just had it mot’d.
