1979 MG MIDGET 1500
One of the last of the line, this car was produced in late 1979 and is just over a thousand cars from the very last Midget ever built. Finished in Black and with only three previous owners, this matching numbers example has been well looked after and could be great fun open-top motoring for the summer ahead.
MG launched the Midget in 1961 and it has been one of the most successful convertible sports cars ever produced. Despite their diminutive size, the car provided a good combination of practicality blended with a sporty driving experience. With surprisingly good leg room, a decent boot and being very frugal to run, the cars could be used for everyday transport during the week and yet provide a sporty fun drive for weekend trips into the county providing as much fun at B-road speeds as much larger more powerful sports cars did at far higher velocities.
KFK 228V benefits from being prepared for sale through our workshops and will be sold with 12 months MOT. A great example of one of the most popular traditional classic cars, whether it is a start on the classic car ladder that you are looking for or just some low-cost practical and fun open-top motoring, this car will not disappoint.
