BMWs first twin cam Vanos ( variable valve timing ) . Timing chain not belt.
M42 engine pulls strongly to the red line with a slick gear change and all the power to be expected of an engine barely run in.
All components work as intended although the original Panasonisc pull out radio/ cassette is weak .
All five alloy wheels are Un damaged and virtually as new.
BMW Wilmslow carried out a safety recall and inspection and I have rectified what little they found.
The car is very solid underneath and has obviously been garaged .
The vehicle is totally original without any body repairs or other nasties.
Blemishes can be found such as the odd stone chip and other small trim failings but nothing that is not age related, and I will service the car at BMW for the new owner. This will only be its second service .
£12000 is the price .
