Description
Jaguar xjc 4. 2 coupe automatic
lovely squadron blue/ biscuit leather
first registered 21st march 1978 , a very late example.
large history file, old mot's etc.
i purchased this car to use whilst my other coupe was undergoing restoration which is now finished hence the sale from my personal collection. She had been dry stored for a good while and required some work which was carried out, including a manual choke conversion (a must!) the paintwork was micro blistered in places so this was re painted. The headlining is pinned up as it sags, there is a new headlining with the car.
she was rolling road tuned a few months ago, has fantastic oil pressure, and although obviously mot exempt, i had her mot tested and she passed without advisory. The underside of the car is totally solid and she has great panel gaps all round.
the paint is now really good, she has an odd mark obviously but presents really well.
the seats are tear free, they have not been treated and have a lovely patina to them.
the inner wings are un welded and in great shape (see pics)
faults: Drivers electric window not working, the for mentioned roof lining (supplied), and some of the chrome has lifted a little on the back bumper.
historic free road tax
price £17495... these coupes are rising quickly now, a rotten non runner is £7000+ , and with full restorations £50k + this car is a good buy and investment.
the registration number is included and valued at £1000+
i can possibly assist with delivery at additional cost (car and delivery to be paid in advance)
