Description
This stunning 1958 model Land Rover Series One 88” Fire Engine was supplied new to the Reed Paper Board Mill in Newbury in 1958. The vehicle stayed in service at the mill until the mid-1990s when the vehicle was auctioned off and was purchased by a family associated with the mill and vehicle who kept it for a few years. It was subsequently sold on to the first of two private Land Rover collections as a highlight vehicle. Having completed 7616 miles from new of which 6, 600 miles were completed in service at the mill. The vehicle retains all the charm of it's era from simply being so remarkably original. It retains all of it's operational features as a Fire Engine and is in full working order.
