Based on a 1976 Mini 1000 that appears to be in fair all round condition, this 'Mr Bean' car is fitted with automatic transmission, presumably as the somewhat distracted Mr Bean would not have coped well with changing gear... The Mini is a full five seater - if you include the chair on the roof, which is part of the sale. With its distinctive paintwork, including a black painted bonnet and outside door lock bolt to the driver's door, this car will certainly stand out from the other Minis. The roof bears the signature Rowan Atkinson and the date of January 2015 and the car has come from a museum collection, hence its low recorded mileage. Offered for sale on instruction of a high court ruling, only copy paperwork is offered with this car. Sold strictly as viewed.

The auction itself will be conducted from a remote saleroom, behind closed doors without public access, in accordance with the current government guidelines. COLLECTION OF PURCHASED LOTS
All lots must be cleared from the Hangar by 1pm on Sunday 21st March. After this, our transport partners E M Rogers will uplift the lot and take to their storage facility in Northampton at a cost of £130+VAT. This charge includes three days of storage. Please access Bicester Heritage via the 'South Gate', Skimmingdish Lane, OX26 5HA. Please email us with your collection or transport instructions as soon as possible following your successful bid. Failure to instruct Bonhams by the given time will result in your vehicle being uplifted to store at your expense, as detailed in the Conditions of Sale on our website. Buyers should satisfy themselves that they have collected all relevant log books, documents and keys relating to their Lot(s) at time of collection.
