1967 Triumph TR5 2500 PI. Triumph White with Oxblood leather upholstery. We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer this Triumph, having been owned by a prolific collector who only settles for the very best, it is very rare to find a car like this coming to market, only for sale due to storage restrictions we think this is a unique opportunity to obtain such an outstanding car. This absolutely stunning Triumph was nut and bolt rebuilt in 2010 to concours standard using a brand new CTM chassis and new panels as required. We have invoices on file for the parts supplied by CTM Engineering TR Specialists of Hampshire. The cars engine was also subject to a rebuild and is now converted to run on unleaded fuel. We have a large history file with the car containing lots of bills, invoices and old MoT certificates. The condition of this car speaks for itself and we welcome any inspection as we think it must be one of the best available, no expense was spared and everything was either rebuilt or replaced. The paintwork is still very fresh today and the panel gaps and alignment is excellent as we have tried to show in the photographs. The upholstery and interior fittings are as new and show no sign of wear whatsoever. The underside of the car is as good as on top and has seen very little use since restoration. We have all of the documents with the car including the current V5 showing the model recorded as a TR5. We have driven the car for approximately 10 miles when taken for photographs and it performed without fault, the PI engine starts easily with excellent oil pressure and pulls exceptionally well, the manual gearbox is smooth and precise with a working overdrive and there are no diff or axle whines. Also on file is a copy of the factory Heritage certificate that shows the car originally left the factory in December 1967 as a TR250 and was dispatched to Genser & Forman Inc of New York before returning home in 2008 to be prepared for the complete build and it was re-built to the correct TR5 specification, totally standard.
