The car is recorded as an insurance category C due to some body damage occurred in a side impact under a previous ownership and this is reflected in the asking price. Although the damage was limited to just the bodywork the insurance company was not prepared to source any panels and pay for a repair. The car was subsequently repaired by a specialist bodyshop.
The car runs very well and has obviously been well maintained. The service handbook showing earlier history is with the car but other records were unfortunately retained/ lost by the insurance company. However it is understood that Frosts of Shoreham, one time Lotus dealers, used to carry out annual services for the previous owner.
Private number plate available.
The hood and seals are all good.
Ongoing maintenance has included replacement of the alternator, overhaul of the headlights and waxoyling. Stone chips to the front have recently been attended to and the car now presents very well. Fitted with a Nardi steering wheel, a factory option.
