Probably the next best looking Jaguar after the E-type! White with dark blue contrasting interior
The interior is in superb condition, with the leather is still soft and supple, the wood facia is in good condition with a nice shine and finish. Only downside it a small hole on the base of the rear seat, would be a nice easy repair for an interior guy.
In unrestored condition, the car is very solid with no welding required, but the paint work will require some work. The pictures make the paintwork look better than it is, but is still very usable as it is, and looks good from 10 yards away!
The car drives very well with plenty of power from the straight six engine, the gearbox goes through the gears like a typical old jag, the steering is light and she keeps up with modern traffic.
There is some history with the car, some old receipts etc.
The previous owner bought the car in 1987 and owned it until this year. It was used very sparingly as was mainly parked up for the last 5 years.
The car has just had a full service including all the oils, plugs, condenser, rotor arm, points, coil and leads.
The previous owner has fitted a full stainless exhaust, new springs and shockers and refreshed the brakes with braided hoses and new callipers all round.
Overall the car will need some tinkering with but will make a fantastic car for someone.
These are flying up in value at the moment, I know this one needs work but the price reflects this.
