UK registered with number plates fitted and I have the V5 here. 1949 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Van. This was bought out of an estate sale so I don't know loads about the van. It was set up for Englishtown drag strip in New Jersey so it is good for the road or fun at the strip. It is running a 358 cubic inch engine with automatic transmission and has a Holley double pumper carburettor, NASCAR headers, gear drive, 456 rear end, disc brakes on the front. The van has been in hibernation in a barn for a long time approximately since 1997 (so 24 years). It has recently been bought back to life with a light recommission, like carburettor stripped and cleaned, new fuel pipes, new flexy brake pipes and brakes stripped and cleaned, replaced exhaust, replaced tyres, etc. The body work has not been touched in all this time except for being polished so you can see it is very solid with just the usual age related marks. The chassis is also very solid but there is some rust on the outer 4 - 6 inches of the floor which has had some poor quality patches on them also the inner sill need a couple of repairs but you could use it the way it is and do these repairs as you go. I am just making it aware as I don't like wasting time. This van has done less than 5 miles in the last 24 years but it always starts first turn runs up to temperature and sounds great. It looks real cool and they are very rare especially over here There is a lot of potential in this van and it would make a great classic van for the shows or would be ideal as a advertising vehicle for your business. This van will take a little getting used to as it is loud and will be fast so it is not the shy or faint hearted

To recap this Chevrolet van is 72 years old. so it is not new and is a little project that has age related marks on it and needs a little work so if you cant do the work or know anyone that can do it this van is not for you.
