So, having fallen in love with her in late 2019, I imported this car myself from the sunny state of Texas. We've had a lot of fun but, due to one too many cars in the driveway, and not getting driven anywhere near enough, it's now time for somebody else to give her a home.
With the original 352 (5. 7ltr) V8 engine, which runs as sweet as a nut, you'll have that beautiful and all American V8 soundtrack. (Still makes me smile every time I hear it!) She has a three speed, column shift manual box, or "three on the tree", with power steering, which works well.
She's just had her 60th birthday so as you'd expect, she's not perfect, but is still pretty healthy for her age and hasn't lost any of her charm and good looks! She's structurally very sound and all the arches and footwells etc. are solid. There is some dents, (from a hail storm she got caught in during her previous life in America!) but none have split the paint so she drives happily with these battle scars and they'd only need to be sorted if you wanted to bring her back to show condition.
She's registered in UK and has a full V5. Being tax and MOT exempt and eligible for classic car insurance, she's super cost effective to keep!
I can't find another one of these in the UK, and they're becoming increasingly rare and unaffordable in America, so a great chance to get yourself a really unique head turner and an appreciating asset!
