This beautifully original 1983 Mercedes 380SL convertible was built to order for Harald Muller, owner of Zyfert & Muller, which in 1983 was an authorised service agent for Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, and Volvo. Delivered by the Mercedes factory in Stuggard, Muller used the vehicle in Germany then imported the vehicle though the official Mercedes Australian distributor Sandersons Motors of Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.
Many years later the vehicle was purchased by a federal politician and the car sat mostly idle in Canberra until his retirement in 2004 when it was acquired by the present owner. Used sparingly for the past 17 years the vehicle is presently on NSW historic registration, and present in beautifully original condition. The vehicle has both soft and hard tops, owners books, full service history and original tool kit.
