The Launch of the second generation Range Rover Sport, in 2013, brought about huge changes to the model. This wasn't a simple facelift but a total redesign with mostly aluminium construction reducing the weight of the Sport by over 400KG. The superb 5. 0 Supercharged V8 was carried over from the old model, with over 500 BHP on tap, 60 MPH comes up in just 5 seconds. This is a super 7 seater performance car with amazing practicality.
This fine example was purchased by its last owner in 2017 with just 25, 000 miles on the clock. He has enjoyed the car over the last 4 years covering between 20 and 30 thousand miles between MOT's. Unfortunately, despite meticulous maintenance the car suffered timing chain failure earlier this year so a replacement, fully reconditioned and guaranteed unit was purchased. All paperwork and warranty will be provided to the new owner. Don't take the risk of buying a 5. 0 with 80k+ on the clock without a documented timing chain replacement. To replace a damaged engine will cost in the region of £10, 000. Since replacement around 600 miles have been covered on the engine and a running in service completed in line with warranty requirements.
