Motodrome offer for sale this really original example one of our favourite 1980’s sports coupes – a 1986 BMW 635 CSi (E24) Automatic, finished in Zinnober Red with full black leather trim.
This one is a bit of a rare find in that it’s one of the most original and unmessed with E24’s I’ve seen over the past few years – it doesn’t appear to have ever been ‘restored’ and I don’t think it’s ever had any paintwork of significance. We’re told it was dry stored in a heated garage from 2000 until January 2021, when it was recommissioned.
Fitted with full leather, switchable automatic gearbox, BMW comfort seats, electric sunroof/ windows/ mirrors, central locking, trip computer, headlamp wash/ wipe, front fogs, and rear spoiler,
Also fitted with the original alloys shod with the rare and correct metric tyres, and Kenwood radio/ CD with electric aerial.
Odometer reading 118000m (so just run in) - the M30B34 engines are capable of starship mileages. My last daily driver had covered 215000 miles when I sold it and it was still running like a train.
V5 shows just 4 previous keepers and it seems to have had just one owner from 2000 until Jan 2021, and it comes with history including original service book with 13 stamps in it (all main dealer or specialist) and old MOT’s back to 1994.
