My in daily use car , for the last 4 years +, Ive owned the car since january 2017.
First registered july 78 , a scimitar gte SE6a v6 3ltr auto 121, 500 miles Registered as Historic Vehicle. Tax and mot exempt
I did a full top end overhaul during last lockdown (july 21 ), also i refurbished the 38 dgas weber
Transmission is through a c3 auto box. The output seal to propshaft has just been replaced.
Stainless exhausts Tubular 3 branch headers.. I had the Radiator re-cored august 2017.
White body, black (paint) roof.
There is very little chassis surface corrosion, some can be expected when in daily use, and the one area that was suspect at last mot has been replaced (bolt on front nose support). All the brake pipes and flexible hoses and front suspension bushes were replaced during first lockdown of 2020, as too were the fuel pipes, those being replaced with genuine cohline e10 proof pipe.
I also replaced the filler hose from cap to tank.
Sits on good tyres, has a new yuasa 5000 battery with 65amp alternator, kenlow fan , wolfrace alloys. Mintex pads .
NOT PAS. but not heavy on steering
Quiet diff , smooth box , new windscreen with blue top band tint fitted mid 2021 , rear mudflaps recently added.
Tidy blue/ grey/ black interior, the new carpet fitted summer 2020. i use Seat covers over the leather fronts which need some tlc.
Tax and test exempt, good looker, but it is not perfect , paint not bad some micro blisters , not a concours car but it isn't priced as one
In reality, its a great affordable entry car you could use and improve as you use it. .
My insurance was £84 this last year on 5000 miles.
Selling due having now completed my scimitar 5a full restoration , i also own a GTC , so i have no space for it .
